Library Services

The Trent University Library offers borrowing privileges to Trent alumni at both our Bata and Durham Library locations.

Access rich collections of the Trent University Archives, featuring rare books, historical documents, and unique research materials that capture the university’s legacy and regional history.

Alumni can access a selection of licensed online resources and journals, such as JSTOR, e-books and other digital materials.
How to Access Alumni Library Services
Borrowing:
A library card is required to access borrowing privileges. To get a library card, visit the Library Service Desk at either location and show the library staff your digital alumni card, available through Trent Alumni Perks. Physical alumni cards will also be accepted by Library staff.
Archives:
A digital alumni card, available through Trent Alumni Perks, is required to access the Trent Archives. Physical alumni cards will also be accepted by Archive staff.
Online Collections:
An active myTrent account is required for alumni to access digital resources. Visit the Library website to see which resources are licensed for alumni use.
